Our Story

Founder Renée-Ann Therien

Some of the most memorable homes are not defined by what they have, but by what they choose to keep.

They are shaped over time through objects with character and quiet presence. Pieces collected with intention rather than impulse. Objects that become part of everyday rituals and, eventually, part of the story of a home.

That belief is what inspired Lieu Signé.

My appreciation for beautiful objects began long before Lieu Signé. My creative background is rooted in fashion, where I developed an eye for proportion, material, texture, and the subtle details that give something its character. Over time, that same sensibility naturally found its way into interiors.

My travels to Greece, a place I return to often, have also deeply shaped my perspective. I am continually drawn to the slower rhythm of European life—the beauty of simplicity, the importance of everyday rituals, and homes that feel collected rather than decorated. Spaces where old and new coexist naturally, and where objects are gathered over time, used, loved, and made part of everyday life.

It is this feeling that I bring to every Lieu Signé collection.

A considered mix of objects, eras, and materials, brought together through a singular point of view. Pieces chosen not simply for how they look, but for the feeling they bring to a home.

Rather than following trends, Lieu Signé embraces a slower, more considered approach to collecting—one guided by timelessness, character, and a lasting sense of beauty. The collections are intentionally limited, composed of distinctive finds and timeless pieces chosen for their enduring presence.

The name itself reflects this philosophy.

Lieu — a place, an atmosphere, a setting shaped by what lives within it.

Signé — a signature; a distinct point of view and a mark of intention.

Together, Lieu Signé represents my belief that a home becomes its own signature through the objects collected within it.

Because the most beautiful interiors are never built all at once.

They are collected.
One thoughtful piece at a time.
